What is the Quad-lock?:
Lock 1: outer barrier layer deactivates microbes on contact and is also water resistant. A physical/mechanical destruction of the virus this layer does not contain any toxic chemicals or heavy metals. Tested and regulated across multiple countries, ISO certified by Akhand Armour in the UK and independently tested by an independent Testing Laboratory
Lock 2: inner lining layer deactivates microbes using a slightly different yet equally powerful mechanism. A two-step chemical + physical destruction of the virus and micro-organisms (including bacteria) this chemistry uses cosmetic grade ingredients, safe, effective, fast acting and is ISO certified and independently tested across multiple countries
Lock 3: the side channels can be adjusted tight against the cheeks. These channels have also been treated with a micro-organism virus destroying antimicrobial to form an additional barrier along the cheek line
Lock 4: the filter pocket is for prolonged use in a heavy traffic/heavily crowded environment. The antimicrobial ingredients have been safely used within the healthcare sector for many many years. The chemistry has been tested across multiple countries. Certified non-toxic, skin safe and cannot be inhaled. There are no shortcuts – we have agonised over every component utilised within our products. The elite chemistry we use does not leave the fabric and so never washes out.
This is not just another face covering. The face masks, face coverings and other antimicrobial products are engineered to be self sanitising and self cleaning.
The agents are bonded into the fibres of the textiles. They NEVER wash out. Like any other garment, fibres can fall away during the wash cycle. The better the fibres are preserved, the longer the effects will last.
The masks, coverings and other fabric products (e.g. shawls and blankets) are reusable and washable.
Think of them like your favourite woollen jumper or silk scarf – how often would you wash it before you see the fibres deteriorate?

Also frequently put the antimicrobial fabric products through a more rigorous wash process (either by hand or machine) on a gentle wash cycle (wool, silk, synthetic).

The outer barrier layer is tightly woven antimicrobial virus reducing water resistant polyester blend.
The inner lining layer is a super soft, super comfortable, single or double layer 100% cotton.
2nd Skin Form Fit your face masks or face coverings and give your face a hug!
The products are engineered to ‘form fit’ around your own unique face shape.
Adjust the fit with the adjustable ear loops and side channels taking care to minimise any gaps by the cheeks.
The top pleat is engineered to be placed to hug your nose (your nose can ‘rest’ on it).

As our masks are built to be resilient during washing, we have not sewn in nose wires.
Please use our self-adhesive detachable nose wires should you require.
These can either be placed discreetly under the lining – go through the filter pocket and attach to the face fabric, in the middle to sit over the bridge of your nose OR wear that gorgeous silver stripe over the top of your nose bridge loud and proud.
Detach when washing. Replace when needed…you’re in control…you do this your way…
If you have bought our Wash-in Shield please note in an average domestic washing machine (8kg load) you will need only 45-60ml. It’s that good.
A 5L bottle can last over 100 washes! In an average household this will partner you along your virus reducing transmission journey for approximately 12 months!
Measure it out, make sure you run a rinse cycle, add it to your rinse compartment (where your conditioner goes) and you’re ready to rock and roll.
We suggest you wash your outer clothing (maybe don’t waste it on your underwear!)
It’s even better if you can run your clothes through the dryer after washing…this dries the product right in… Good for around 30 days or until your next wash!
