Innovative virus destroying technology turns people into human virus neutralisers

Innovative virus destroying technology turns people into human virus neutralisers.

A unique virus destroying technology incorporated into textiles that can be used for face masks, shopping bags, baby changing mats, mobile phone bags enables anyone using the textiles to become ‘human virus neutralisers’

Akhand Armour’s Mandeep Hanspal explains “ As soon as the infected droplets land on the treated products, the outer wall of the coronavirus is destroyed rendering it useless and unable to infect people. Our special antiviral wearables can help turn people into ‘human sanitising shields to deactivate the virus within the community by stealth.”

The technology has been independently tested by MSL Labs of Bury, confirming its effectiveness against the virus as well as a host of other microbes and bacteria.

Akhand Armour is the only company to have developed a dual pathway to destroy the virus and achieve an ISO certification for a non-medical face covering independently and scientifically confirming the landed virus is destroyed on contact with the fabric.

“I wanted to make it easy for people. I wanted to create a product which could fit in with life as we live it, disguise it as everyday wear, make it beautiful, easy to use whilst working and sanitising,” said Mandeep. “We take the stress out of masking, making it easy for the user and easy for the people around them.”

The resultant face coverings and other textiles looks and feels like a luxurious fabric, but destroys the virus and bacteria preventing them from mutating and infecting.  It creates a ‘self-sanitising eco-system’.

All the products have been designed to be diversity friendly – accommodating multiple face shapes, turbans, hats, beards, headwear and hearing aids.  Using the fabrics in shopping bags, changing mats, phone bags and spectacle cases provides even greater protection and neutralisation of infected droplets.

“Virus neutralising technology has been around for decades. This is well tested, robust technology, which we have repurposed in order to support communities by reducing contact based transmission. By moving over to wearables which destroy the virus on contact, we are helping to make the process of covering up less perilous.  Even when restrictions are removed, many people will be hesitant about the potential risk since Covid numbers are still rising.  Using an anti-viral wearable, and/or using our anti-viral textiles when you go out  will dramatically reduce those risks, helping to neutralise the virus within the community,” says Mandeep.

“We are committed to help drive down community fuelled transmission,” says Akhand Armour’s Mandeep.  “We invite anyone living in or working in an area where surge testing is underway to contact us for a subsidy against the antiviral face mask and/or antiviral face mask case.”
